TITLE I INFORMATION

What is the Purpose of Title I Funding?
Title I, Part A is a federal program that helps ensure all students—regardless of background—have access to a high-quality education and the opportunity to meet challenging state academic standards.

At Gulf Coast Charter Academy South, Title I funding supports our commitment to academic achievement by providing additional resources for students who need them most. These funds are directed to schools with high percentages of students from low-income households, determined by eligibility for free and reduced lunch programs.
How Are Title I Funds Used at Gulf Coast?

  • Instructional materials and classroom resources
  • Certified teachers and highly qualified paraprofessionals
  • Technology and educational tools for student learning
  • Academic support in Reading, Writing, Math, and Science
  • Before-school, after-school, and summer tutoring programs
  • Professional development for teachers and staff
  • Time for staff collaboration and instructional planning

These resources help ensure every student at Gulf Coast Charter Academy South is given the opportunity to grow, succeed, and reach their full academic potential.
