Adventures in 3rd Grade!


Grade 3 students are busy beavers!  In these photos, they can be seen reading with their Kindergarten Book buddies, doing a Halloween pumpkin sink float & pumpkin guts experiement,, gardening in the school gardent, and on a field trip at the Naples Zoo!

Scholastic Book Fair!

GCCAS' very first Halloween Trunk or Treat was a spooktacular success!


Many students and their families participated in the trunk decorating contest, as well as the trunk or treating experience!


Can't wait to see what tricks and treat await GCCAS next year!

GCCAS Music Department visits the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra!


 Ms. Carme, Director of the Art and Music Department, organized a field trip to The Naples Philharmonic Orchestra and Mrs. Fangmeier's Class was chosen to be the first class to attend. The, "Compose Yourself" production, created by The Philharmonic , is a magnificent, student participation event which includes a very interactive program between The Orchestra and attending students. Ms. Carme studies Performance Harp with The Principal Harpist at The Philharmonic, Mr. Richard Fleisher and students from GCCAS were able to watch him perform and answer questions about the many instruments demonstrated yesterday. After the performance, students enjoyed a lunch in The Art Museum Veranda. More field trips will follow to both The Philharmonic and The Naples Art Museum". 

BOO at the Zoo!


​​Principal Auer and the PTO joined the animals at the Naples Zoo for a hairy, not scary, day of trick or treating!


It was a very well attended event, and we event got to meet Governor Rick Scott and his family!  

Family Bowling Night


​​A fun night was had by our GCCAS families, Faculty, Staff, and PTO!


Approximatley 60 people came out and bowled at Woodside Lanes for Family Bowling Night!

Garage Sale


​​The PTO put together a hugely successful Yard Sale fundraiser prior to the beginning of the school year.


It was very well attended, well planned, and everyone was well fed.  Bravo, PTO!

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!


​​On August 29, 2013, a ceremonial ribbon cutting was held to commemorate the grand opening and inagural year of the very first Charter School in Naples. 


Principal Auer cut the ribbon as the students, teachers, staff, PTO, and community cheered him on!
